Hey there! It’s been a while since posting and that’s because I’ve had NO WIFI! Currently posting this from an airport in Panama – woah!

For the past week my squad has been on a mountain with the ministry ‘La Montana’ for a time of reflection and remembrance. We’ve sat in sessions led by our mentor and coaches, ate fantastic meals, swam in the lake, debriefed with our teams, and more. The rest has been much needed.

With that being said you might be wondering why I’m in Panama and where I’m going next!

WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!

Long story short, due to COVID-restrictions and safety regulations Adventures in Missions found it best to stay in Central America. While it’s not at all what we expected, we are very excited to be working alongside some long-standing ministries. The squad will stay at ‘Mission of Hope’ in Santiago.

Ministry will look like home visits, intentional relationship building, manual labor, base up-keeping, and bible study ministry with the church. My heart feels so full that I get to continue working in the country where I fell in love with international missions! For two separate trips I worked in Santo Domingo and made some amazing relationships with locals and our groups translators!

While staying in the Dominican Wifi is going to be extremely minimal, meaning blogs and messages won’t be as frequent. I’m hoping to send out lots of updates whenever I can though!

I’ll be posting a couple more blogs of stories and memories in Costa Rica before I board the flight and head off to the next adventure – definitely give them a read!

Love you all so so much and couldn’t be here without you!
